Recent national statistics show San Isidro to be the fastest growing and safest (from crime) of all major Costa Rican cities. About the neighbourhood
Don't miss the San Isidro Farmer's Market (Feria) on Thursdays or our own Chirripo Feria on Wednesdays where local produce and organic products are plentiful. Get aged cheese from Quesos Canaan, organic desserts from a local Chocolate Factory and enjoy the beauty of the Secret Gardens all within a half hour drive up the mountain in neighboring villages. Buy salad fixings and eggs from your neighbors. Eat oranges, mandarina, banana, avocado, plantains and water apple from the trees on your grounds. Feel healthier and freer than you've ever felt enjoying the Pura Vida in the safe and charming barrio of San Francisco de Rivas.
