Great old house, well equipped and the perfect location for our base whilst walking the coastal path from Fishguard to Cardigan in the relentless pouring rain!! The house was warm and welcoming on our return each evening and the large, separate old kitchen provided perfect...More

Additional Rate and Availability Information
There are no surprise additional costs. Rental includes all taxes, cleaning, WIFI, towels, linen, some basic kitchen supplies. Please ask about any weekend visits, that are usually 30 to 50% less than the weekly rate. Longer stays or smaller group discounts are often available. At short notice when there is a gap in the calender we can be more flexible with prices.. I can send a rental agreement by email upon request. Payment can be made by online banking, cheque or Paypal (credit or debit card). 30% holds the booking and the balance is due 2 months before the holiday. We do have a 4th middle rate between 8 and 14 people as well. Please see our own website for this at www.go-wales.org. Please note nightly pricing can vary widely depending upon the amount of nights. The less nights the higher the nightly prices would be.
Note: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.

About the neighbourhood
.The ancient borough of Newport/Trefdraeth has many convenient amenities, with the charm of its small 'village-sized' community (roughly 1,000 people). There are excellent restaurants, pubs and cafes (the locally caught seafood is a must), as well as the usual shops such as a bakery, a butcher's, a news agent, post-office, eco-centre, and a convenience store. There are numerous art galleries, craft shops, and an antique shop. There are many sports facilities including an excellent golf course that you can see from the house, tennis courts, sports field, bicycle rentals, horse stables and tours, and boat club. Historic sites are all around us, and there are too many to mention, but we would highly recommend touring the local standing stones, churches, castles and Iron Age forts... more
