Use of brick and stone in the kitchen fittings adds to the rustic feel. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, gas cooker, cooker hood, refrigerator, freezer, coffee brewer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and vacuum cleaner. The living room space is centralised around a cosy fireplace and a large Satellite TV with DVD player. There is also a CD player and Hi-fi system. First floor All rooms on the first floor have an airy and spacious feel to them due to the high wooden ceilings. There are four bedrooms; one bedroom with a double bed and one single bed, two twin bedrooms and another bedroom with a double bed. About the neighbourhood
Porec is one of the principal tourist centres on the Istria coast. The town has a long history. Porec was an important Roman army base in the second century AD (the Roman name was Parentium). Today the old town has elements originating from its Roman and later Venetian history. The most notable building is the Basilica of Euphrasius dating from the 6th century, an important example of early Byzantine architecture and the earliest example of a triple apsed church in Western Europe. In the summer Porec is a busy tourist centre with an abundance of restaurants, cafes and hotels around the centre and along the coast, a selection of beaches and a wide range of activities close at hand.
