This magnificent luxury house is a rarity in central Jerusalem. Situated within walking distance from the Old City, it occupies one of the highest points in Jerusalem with panoramic views stretching as far as the Dead Sea. In the dining area the table can extend to accommodate ten. One of the living room terraces (there are three) is equipped with an al fresco dining set consisting of a large table and four chairs. There is a sun terrace off the master bedroom with a small table and two rattan chairs for comfortable enjoyment. As regards communications and entertainment, there is a 42' plasma TV in the lounge and a 32' LCD TV in the master bedroom with a further 32' LCD television in a further bedroom. All the television sets have satellite. Dedicated off street gated parking and plenty of free on street parking make this a joy for anyone with a car and the property is located only a twenty minute walk from the Old City and a twelve minute walk from Emek Refaim. Kosher and regular dishes, pots etc are provided for self-catering. There are very few comparable vacation rental properties in terms of spaciousness, quality and amenities within central Jerusalem. This property is as large and well facilitated as a suburban American home - which is extremely uncommon in central Jerusalem where most homes' bedrooms and bathrooms are tiny.More

About the neighbourhood
The street is one of the quietest and leafiest in central Jerusalem sprinkled with large homes and yards yet located just two minutes walk away from a major road and a supermarket. You can walk to the Western Wall from the end of the street without having to take any city roads. You just go down into the Valley of Gehinna and up to Mount Zion. It takes around fifteen minutes. Just a few streets away (a five minutes walk) is the start of the lower Sherover Promenade (the Tayelet) with some of the best views of all Jerusalem and surrounds. This property is just being returned to short term letting after being leased to an embassy for three years.
