My wife and I, and one other adult guest, stayed in the apartment in November 2016. This was our second rental of this property, encouraged by our previous great experience last year. Again, our dealings with the owner were a joy. Her son was on hand to greet us and see us settled. Nothing was too much trouble. The comfortable style of the apartment suits us. It's location is always commented on by those who stay. Supermarket, bank, ATMs, speciality shops and food court to hand in the complex. Taxis and tuk tuks plentiful. Recommended for small group. or family.

Home away from home
Thank you for a wonderful stay Eranga!!! You are an excellent host. You made us feel safe and comfortable from the day we sent you the request. The apartment was exactly as described, lovely apartment. It is clean, spacious and best part was how central it was! Flat security is very strict and very supportive. Dinuka made the check-in and check-out very easy. He even supported in all best ways by suggesting the travels and guided us with places which can/should be visited. We’d love to come back and highly recommend staying here.

Average but good location
Was in this place for 3 days and wanted to share my review.
First of all i was contacted by the owners n the agent prior to arrival which was really good. They inquired for number of pax and mentioned that the agent will be sorting all out.
Upon arrival the reception took some time to check if the agent was legit and the owners were correct. Which was not convenient at the time if arrival. Agent was really nice and made several phone calls on the day of arrival.
Positives - good location, huge rooms, clean , spacious, no restrictions on guests , cinnamon grand hotel was literally next to the residence, good restaurant around, pool available, shopping mall , beach. Bathroom were spacious. Kitchen had all the required cutleries and pans for cooking. Balcony with a nice view, an iron available. Had a washing machine and a vaccume machine which came in handy. Fridge was clean.
Negatives - walls had stain and needed painting, bathroom WC cover was yellow and was disgusted , carpet in the living room was dirty and had lots of stain, though the stains weren't visible during the day they were visible at night and was not comfortable whilst we had guests. No amenities in the bathroom except for cheap soap. No spare toilet rolls for the number of days we stayed. Room windows were not clean from inside.
However the total cost of electricity exceeded over 50 dollars for three days which was quite expensive. Could of added some bathroom amenities and made it look better for the price we paid. Then again location was really good and had everything around.

Yes, there really is a Serendip
My wife and I leased this apartment for the entire month of August 2015. Not only did we experience super accommodation, but had thew distinct pleasure of dealing with the most kind and considerate owners. From the outset nothing was too much trouble. The owner contacted us before we took up residence, and a couple of times during our stay to ensure our comfort and well being. The apartment is well furnished and equipped. More than adequate for the two of us. Even when our teenage grand daughter and her girl friend dropped in from time to time during their tour of Sri Lanka, we were all comfortably accommodated. The location in the Crescat, Cinnamon Grand Hotel, complex is very secure. Taxis and tuk tuks always close to hand. The shopping next door at Crescat includes,ATMs, supermarket, pharmacy, book/DVD store and fashion shops. It is a stones throw to the seafront at Galle Face green, and minutes from the CBD. A very comfortable base for your holiday and strongly recommended. We would certainly return.

A home away from home

comfortable and clean, gym/ health club access/ pool. friendly staff.

Just check in and smile.
As a repeat renter of this apartment, the metaphor 'two thumbs up!' just about sums up what I have to say about this rental experience. A perfect blend of location, comfort and price makes this, one of the smarter rental choices for people who want to focus on their vacation. The willingness of the owners to work around airline schedules is also a plus. As someone who travels yearly to the resplendent isle, I see no reason to look for alternatives. I have and will continue to recommend this apartment to friends and family.

A great twenty seven night holiday
This apartment is in a very central and convenient location.
We were welcomed on arrival by the owner's son who conducted a very smooth introduction to the apartment and left us with the assurance that he was just a phone call away.
The apartment is very comfortable. The sitting room with dining area and enormous Master bedroom with large attached bath/shower room has plenty of day light. The smaller second bedroom/shower room is just as comfortable. The apartment and furniture was clean throughout - we were impressed by the spotlessly clean interiors of all the cupboards on the premises.
The kitchen has all the necessary appliances but cooking was
not an option as the numerous food outlets at the underground Crescat shopping mall and within walking distance serves the apartment well. The underground supermarket/pharmacy is very convenient.
The swimming pool was being refurbished so we did not see it, however, the Management office arranged for us to use the Cinnamon Grand hotel pool for a small one-off payment.
Security for the apartment is very good - we felt very secure during our stay.
Electricity is charged by meter readings on arrival/ departure which we found very reasonable as we used the aC, laundered regularly and ironed on a daily basis.
The very accommodating owners installed a landline with incoming calls and at our request provided 2 garden chairs for the balcony. We cite these as examples that they did everything in their power to ensure we were happy and content during our stay.
We were pleased to meet the owners who arrived in Sri Lanka towards the end of our stay and they were on hand to check us out at a time convenient to us. A delightful family who made our stay memorable and doing business with them was a pleasurable experience. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this apartment and look forward to returning in 2014.

Great Place to Stay and Great Location
We stayed in this apartment for 17 days,in March 2012.Everything what you see in the picture is correct.Furniture is excellent every thing in the apartment was was working in order and the apartment is well kept.The crescat building is a very safe place to stay.View is excellent.We never had to cook as there is food is available what ever you like at a very reasonable price at the Food court or even at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel.Walking distance to Galle Face Green.Easy access to transportation.We enjoyed our stay and will stay at this apartment in our future vacations in Sri Lanka. We will recommend this apartment to anyone without any hesitation.Owners Eranga and Priyanga are very nice people to deal with and very friendly. Crescat Residencies is located within the Cinnamon Grand Hotel which is now the No 1 five-star hotel in Sri Lanka. It is very centrally located with all shopping ,clubs, nightlife and restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. The US and UK and Indian embassies are across the road.
