Start with the good bits - Tallinn is great, the apartment is in a reasonable location.
The only disastrous thing is that the owner is an absentee host. It is impossible to make any contact - messages are not replied to, the telephone doesn't work.
I was very worried that we would turn up to find we'd been scammed. Fortunately it was in a managed block of flats and there was a concierge.
But when we got to the apartment, things were missing, a window blind was completely broken, the bed had one single duvet for the two of us.
I suggest you look for an apartment with a host you can communicate with!

The apartment was fine (except no washing machine which is always a nice feature). However, we made several attempts to contact the owner about check-in because we were coming in late evening. The only info we received was there was a 24 hour staffing of the desk. We received no information on location. When we finally found it the desk was manned but the clerk had no information on our arrival or access to the apartment. He made several attempts to contact the owner- we had also tried earlier- but did finally allow us to occupy the property based on our printed info from HomeAway. We were lucky he spoke enough English to help us and was also very sympathetic to our problem. If this had been my first experience with HomeAway, it would have also been my last. I believe this owner needs some coaching on his responsibilities to clients.
