Cottage
Pretty, comfortable and very clean, well equipped cottage set in spacious garden grounds adjacent our English walled garden vineyard. Want to take some of our still whites or our red wine home with you? No problem ring Ronnie or Andrew to buy a case or two whilst you're staying here. There's a spacious family bathroom next to the 3 pretty bedrooms (1 with kingsize bed, 1 with double bed with ensuite sink & wc and finally our family bedroom with kingsize bed plus additional single bed). There's a well equipped kitchen, with range cooker (gas hob/electric oven) next to a relaxing lounge with 3 leather sofas. The other little outbuilding stores some outdoor games. Then you're just a stroll away to the village craft centre, tea-rooms and award winning pub/restaurant. Fancy visiting the historic city of Lincoln? You're on a direct route into the city either by your car or the local No 1 bus service. More

The cottage was perfect for all six of us! Set in a quiet location with a field of sheep just across the drive. There’s a pub a short walk away and the bus stop at the end of the drive. Would stay again.More

A perfect retreat for that relaxing break and it sounds like you had just that! Our small herd of sheep are busy being "lawnmowers" for our vineyard which surrounds the cottage and are little characters! We'd love to welcome you back to the cottage -...More

About the neighbourhood
Our cosy, country Cottage is private and secluded yet well placed to access the historic City of Lincoln with its majestic Cathedral, newly refurbished Castle and quaint uphill shopping streets. Also within reach of the Cottage are many market towns, such as Newark on Trent with its exciting new Civil War Centre, Castle and busy market square; and Sleaford, where The Hub (The National Centre for Craft and Design) is worth a visit and is free of charge and the excellent farmers market held on the first Saturday of the month is also well worth a visit. Just down the road are three National Trust properties, Tattershall Castle, Woolsthorpe Manor, and Belton House - which has activities to cater for all ages and abilities, including a brand new adventure playground for the children. A litt...
Getting around
If you don't want to use your car, then just at the end of the lane to the cottage, you'll find a couple of bus stops (there's another 2 outside the excellent local pub/restaurant and playing field). The A607 is the Lincoln to Grantham road and hopping on the No 1 bus will get you straight into Lincoln with its great cultural and social centres. We can recommend Yvonne's Taxis from Sleaford as a clean and professional local taxi firm and if you are into your cycling, then why not bring your cycles with you to explore the many local lanes and great villages on the doorstep or further afield. There's Cliff Cycles repair centre in the Craft Rooms in the village of Fulbeck or an electric bike hire centre 6 miles away in Navenby
