Coach House Cottage provides modern accommodation which is still full of character. It's a detached cottage with a small secluded garden. We continue to follow enhanced cleaning regimes to ensure you have a safe, as well as a comfortable, stay. Coach House Cottage is next door to The Snug (ID 286354), both are detached cottages tucked up a quiet lane in the small village of Innellan, Argyll. The cottages are ideal for quiet, relaxed 'get away from it all' breaks. With the beach at the foot of the lane and miles of secluded forest walks on your doorstep, they're the perfect base to escape the crowds and enjoy nature. Coach House Cottage was originally a coach house (as you can guess from the name!) & there are still many original features dotted around, such as the cast iron hay feeder ...Coach House Cottage provides modern accommodation which is still full of character. Coach House Cottage was originally a coach house (as you can guess from the name!) & there are still many original features dotted around, such as the cast iron hay feeder for the horses and the large arched window which once allowed access for the coaches. Upstairs you’ll find a bright living room with smart TV, and a twin bedroom, both of which have lovely views over the lane to the hills beyond. On the ground floor is the dining kitchen, the newly fitted bathroom and the large master bedroom. Coach House Cottage is tucked up a quiet lane in the village of Innellan which lies just a few miles south of the popular tourist town of Dunoon - itself just over an hour from Glasgow. There is a shop, post office, restaurant and village pub all within walking distance. We are happy to provide a travel cot, stair gate and high chair. Up to two dogs are also very welcome, but please let us know when you enquire that you would like to bring your four-legged friend along with you, thanks! Free Wi-fi. Available for full weeks, short breaks and long stays. Only an hour from Glasgow, yet a world away, Coach House Cottage is the perfect getaway, whether you've a fortnight or just a weekend to spare - and we'd love to welcome you!More

If you have a large vehicle, or more than one vehicle, there's is a large well-lit layby at the foot of the lane that guests are welcome to use.

Innellan our home from home ❤️

The Coach House... A wonderful place we called our own for 7 days! Could have easily stayed longer, so tranquil and relaxing, felt so comfortable and safe, the house was spotless and fresh... We have stayed at Katie's other property, 'The Snug" a few times...More

Quirky, clean and recommended for a Scottish break

About the neighbourhood
Innellan itself is a quiet little village with a community owned shop, post office, restaurant/bar and a lively village hall. The cottages are tucked up a small lane which is next to the sea, and there are a miles of forest walks where you can hike for hours without seeing another person! TENNIS: We're lucky enough to have a friendly tennis club only a minute's walk from Coach House Cottage ! If you would like to book a tennis court whilst you're here then please let me know and I’ll be happy to arrange it for you. The cost is £3pp (donation to the club) There's SO much to see and do in Cowal that it would be hard to list it all here - so if you would like more information on the region, just let me (Katie) know!
Getting around
There's a great bus service with a bus stop only a couple of minutes walk from the cottage. The bus runs into the town of Dunoon and to lots of beautiful local villages, and there's even a dedicated stop at the breathtaking Botanic Gardens. If you're travelling by car then there are a huge number of possibilities for days out and sightseeing - just let me (Katie) know if you'd like any suggestions.
