The Coach House provides an ideal base for walking; the steam train heritage trail is close by as is Peel Hill and the coastal footpath.
Peel is just two miles away (shops, bank, post office, churches, castle, museum, Cathedral, House of Mannanan, WiFi at the Western Swimming Pool or the Toy Box). St Johns 1½ miles (shop and post office, tearoom, church, Tynwald Hill, Tynwald Craft Centre).

We first came to the coach house in 2013 and it was an amazing experience. Since then we have returned every year, this year we have been twice, and that's mainly down to the coach house and it's location. It is luxury! The upside down...More

The upper floor was where the original owner entertained his male friends with billiards or banqueting. This was, and has now been restored to, a delightful living area with an ornate coved ceiling, an exact replica of the Georgian original.
The original fireplace now contains a wood burning stove (wood provided). The tiles on the hearth were found below the porch during excavations.
The floor in the porch, also discovered during the works, is slate in the shape of an oval billiard table.
The slate cladding on the outside of the upper part of the building, very unusual in the Isle of Man, was mostly still in situ.
