The house is an English style townhouse built in sandstone in 1860 - this style is very rare in Brisbane and is Heritage listed. It has been extensively renovated and is an extremely comfortable and quiet residence whilst only a 10 minute walk to downtown. The very private courtyard opens off the summer lounge/ family room with views of the city buildings. The house is furnished with high quality furniture - a family can stay and be immediately at home. Spring Hill is very well located being a 10 minute walk to the center of Brisbane (the CBD), 10 minute walk to the restaurants and clubs of Fortitude Valley (including Chinatown) and within easy access to major hospitals and Medical Institutes. However is surprisingly quiet particularly in this house with thick sandstone walls to keep noise out and keep the house cool.
Being adjacent to the CBD, buses, trains, Uber and taxi services are all immediately available. Brisbane also has an extensive network of road tunnels and also bike ways - both within easy reach.
