About the neighbourhood
The Cleddau Estuary, which is within the National park, has two rivers running into it, the Eastern and Western Cleddau. The estuary is a ria, an old sunken river valley which is wide and deep. there are many walks around the estuary as well as along the coastline and it is a perfect haven for sailing. There is an excellent website for the National Park. www.pembrokeshirecoast.org.uk which provides a wealth of information about the area.
How to get there
The M4 goes over the Severn Bridge and through to Swansea. At the end of the M4 the A48 and A40 (dual carriageway for a long way) will take you through Carmarthen to Haverfordwest. There are several services along the M4. At the Canaston Roundabout, 8 miles before Haverfordwest take the road to Tenby, after passing the entry to 'Oakwood' turn right, signposted Landshipping.
