Comfortable, clean home about 5 minutes to Blue Mountain Village, Northwinds Beach in Summer, hike up Blue Mountain in Spring and Fall or ski/board in Winter. We are truly a 4 seasons destination. My home has all the amenities to enjoy a short or long holiday to a beautiful destination. There are many restaurants nearby - Scandinave Spa is just down the street. Towns of both Collingwood and Thornbury are short drive and Wasaga Beach is about 20 minutes away. Lots to do shop til you drop or hike up Blue, golf at 5 or 6 courses just minutes away. Lovely biking trails and paths in the area. Showers under 10 minutes and no feminine products or bleach down toilet. We are in a quiet neighbourhood - please be respectful of our lovely area and neighbours.

Great Location!

My wife and I spent a fantastic few days at Moira's place. It is located almost equal distance from downtown Collingwood and Blue Mountain on a quiet street, about a 5 minute drive from either. Both Collingwood and the village at the bottom of Blue...More

Great home enjoyed the space!

This house is located off main road from collingwood to Blue Mountain. Close enough to see the Village but in a lovely executive quiet neighbourhood. We biked up to Thornbury on the trail as Moira aviser this was an easy ride and the kids could...More

Lovely home in area close to Blue Mountain Village and hiking biking trails

About the neighbourhood
We are about 2 kms from Georgian Bay between Collingwood and Blue Mountain Resort. The house is located in a small rural executive enclave and there are no sidewalks or streetlights so very private. It's not busy traffic wise so everyone just walks on the street. The entire area is on well and septic and each house has between 1/3 and 1/2 an acre of land so it is lovely, lots of mature trees and lots of privacy. We are an easy drive to Blue Mountain so great access to skiing, boarding in winter. The community has some trails behind it and so you can take a walk or snow shoe these trails. Lots of hiking - very close to the Bruce Trail with lots of easy access. Many wonderful restaurants and shops in the Blue Mountain Village 5 min away
Getting around
A car is recommended to see the sights, go to the beach either Wasaga Beach - about 20 minutes away or Northwinds Beach - about 5 minutes. There is a bus from Blue Mtn that travels down Mountain Rd to the town but the service is limited. We would suggest having your own vehicle.
