Salt Spray Beach House was newly constructed in 2022 on the majestic cliffs of Park Corner. This ‘saltbox’ inspired beach house is situated to maximize the ocean, sunrise, and sunset views. A private white sand beach is just steps away, along with a secluded cove surrounded by red cliffs. We provide a beach wagon, toys, chairs, and towels to enhance your comfort and relaxation during your beach days. Consider bringing a load of wood to cook dinner while you watch the sun set over the ocean. The air-conditioned cottage is an open concept, 16 ft vaulted ceiling saltbox with a shed roof, and a mix of Scandinavian, Boho and Farmhouse design. With three 12ft bi-parting sliding doors and oversized windows, ocean views can be seen from any room. Salt Spray Beach House sleeps 4-6 people, has 1 full bathroom with a large walk-in shower and double sink, and a half bath. Oh, did we forget to mention that we have a hot and cold outdoor shower to minimize 'sandy-bed'! For cooler nights, the spacious living room showcases a Scandinavian cylinder wood stove and multiple cozy throws to curl up in. Where are we located? We are located in Park Corner, which is 40 minutes from the Confederation Bridge and Charlottetown, and 15-20 minutes from Kensington, Cavendish and Summerside. Several Lucy Maud Montgomery and Anne of Green Gables tourism sites can be found nearby including Lucy Maude Montgomery's birthplace and the Anne of Green Gables Museum, which located across the road. Keep your eyes peeled for Matthew's Carriage rides along Lake of Shining Waters!
