The apartment is in the heart of the medieval village of Rivello, in Piazza Regina Margherita in the center of the lower district of the town. The apartment is on the first floor of an ancient building. It is very bright and welcoming. There is an equipped kitchen area, two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedroom and a large bathroom with shower. The apartment has two balconies overlooking the square. The furnishings are the product, with the exception of the kitchen, of the knowledge of local artisans. Almost all the furnishings have been restored and give the environment a touch of authenticity. They are also there to underline the ancient identity of a town famous for its craftsmen. In the village there are no cars and the only sounds are the voices of the inhabitants. They are also there to underline the ancient identity of a town famous for its craftsmen. In the village there are no cars and the only sounds are the voices of the inhabitants. The neighborhood still has a community atmosphere around the local Clementina where you can buy everything and where in the evening you can enjoy a wonderful aperitif according to local tradition. Rivello is only 18 km from the beach, wedged on the border between the Tyrrhenian coast of Basilicata and Calabria. You can also enjoy the mountain, the Pollino Park is only 30 km away. Visit it if you want to lose yourself in the magic of the medieval alleys of a lesser known Italy, but full of Mediterranean charm. And 'what you need if you need a few days of relaxation between sea and hills in a village that holds surprises. It is suitable for those who know how to enjoy simplicity.More
The Valle del Noce is a part of the unspoilt Basilicata between the sea and the mountains. The coast of Maratea hides in its beautiful coves and in the interior you can admire the mountain of Pollino. Rivello has a central position in this valley and is certainly the most valuable medieval village. Alleys, churches and portals place the small village among the treasures of the south. From here you can also easily reach Paestum, the Certosa di Padula or the Capelli Venere waterfalls.
Getting around
It's easy to get around by car, but those who move without and stay with me can find solutions.
