We would like to invite you to spend a few happy days in our modernised holiday home in the historic wine village of Enkirch in the heart of the middle Mosel valley. On approx. 100 m² floor area it offers contemporary living with all comforts in the historical environment of the upper village of Enkirch. Traditional features combined with modern comforts make this four-star accommodation the ideal home for exploring the beauties of the Mosel wine region. The rooms are bright and spacious, and you will feel at home in an instant. Ground floor: Entrance hallway, Kitchen, Exit to terrace with seating for 6 people, Lounge/dining room. First floor: 1 Bedroom with king-size double bed and seating area, 1 Bedroom with 2 single beds, Shower room. Top floor: 1 Bedroom with king-size double bed and seating area, Bathroom with shower and tub.

This house is to be thoroughly recommended - really spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Everything is in great working and decorative order. Andrea, who looks after the house and keys was very easy to contact and really helpful as we settled in. Enkirch is a pretty, quaint village with some reasonably priced restaurants serving excellent local wines. Very good supermarket shopping in nearby Traben-Trarbach. The location is great for making trips by boat or car to other historic towns and villages and stunning castles like Burg Elz. This is an area of beautiful scenery, not to be missed. And staying in this lovely house will make it great.

About the neighbourhood
Directly on the long distance walk Moselhoehenweg - and in the center of the historic upper village of Enkirch. Lovingly renovated, timber-framed cottages, cobbled streets, romantic courtyards and quaint wine bars invite you to explore and enjoy. Enkirch is a village full of nice people, friendly, hospitable and helpful. As a visitor you will feel at home very soon. The climate is mild and the geographic location between Bernkastel-Kues and Cochem is ideal for exploring the whole Mosel region. There are small shops, bakers, butchers, bank, etc. in easy walking distance. There is a large playground by the river and a small one beside the house (without much noise). To the banks of the Mosel river it is only a few minutes walk.
Getting around
For those who dont want to bring a car there are good bus connections along the river. An excellent bicycle path network covers the whole region. Pedestrian ferry across the river to Koevenig (train station).

There is a bus service from train stations at Wittlich, Traben-Trarbach or Bullay, and excursions from the village. A car is recommended for those who want to see a lot of the area in a short time, but it is possible to have a relaxing holiday without a car.
