A beautiful recently converted dairy, in the beautiful village of Chelmorton, a classic White Peak limestone village in stunning upland scenery, a very quiet and peaceful village within the Derbyshire Dales. James Cottage is a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage for couples, families or groups where both king size beds can be split into twins. Ideal for cyclists, where there's a secure garage, with drying area & bike wash. Perfect spot for walkers to explore the Derbyshire Dales & Peak District. The Cottage has an open plan living/dining area, with underfloor heating on the ground floor, with added benefit of a wood burning style, bioethenal stove, an eco friendly fire, for those cosy nights in. Extra bioethanol fuel can be purchased from us for the fire if required. Fantastic cottage

Excellent location, great local pub ,just across the road from cottage. The owners attention to detail is second to none,great local knowledge. The cottage has everything you need for the family and more, Great walks start from the Church inn and easy drives to Bakewell...More

About the neighbourhood
The Cottage is an ideal base to explore the Peak District only a 10 minute drive to the beautiful towns of Bakewell & Buxton. The beautiful stately homes of Chatsworth (25 minute drive) and Haddon Hall (15 minute drive) are well worth a visit. There are the blue john mines at Castleton & Pooles Cavern in Buxton should be on your visit list. There are great biking trails & footpaths straight from the door to explore.
