Portinscale, Keswick, Lake District, Cumbria, England
The Beeches is a fab house in the small village of Portinscale on the outskirts of Keswick only a 20 minute walk away across country footpaths or take a trip across Derwentwater on the launch. Very comfortable & equipped to a high standard for whatever weather awaits you. Large garden surrounded by a high beech hedge with a lovely patio area outside the kitchen window looking towards Skiddaw and surrounding fells. Parking on the driveway for 2 cars and a garage for storing bikes. Rear porch for wet & muddy boots. Lots of DVD's, games and toys plus a few items of interest that we like to collect. Numerous walks straight from the doorstep, up to the Newlands Valley or into Keswick and beyond.
