We loved staying at Jerpoint. It was more than we expected. Comfortable, private, clean, lovely furnishings. The setting with the gardens & the horse pasture behind the house was amazing. I can't say enough about our hosts, so friendly and full of information. I truly enjoyed meeting them.

Apartment was spacious with a touch of luxury, with a beautiful outlook from the upstairs living room/kitchen area. It was well equipped, with great beds and bed linen. It was spotlessly clean. Michael and Sheila were friendly hosts, with excellent local knowledge and willing to help. Apartment was exactly as described on the website. Do take heed of directions to apartment.

Fantastic stay at the Jerpoint com apartment in Thomastown. Wonderful hosts Michael and Sheila couldn't be more helpful - friendly but not intrusive. Apartment is very new with all modern amenities - the bed was very comfortable and the huge bathroom modern with a great shower and lovely fluffy towels. Great TV and excellent wi fi reception. Highly recommend this place to stay. Thanks for the home cooked muffins Sheila and loved the Aussie flag Michael.

This executive-comfort accommodation oasis really made our visit to this wonderful area. The accomodation is very well appointed, of exceptional quality and very, very comfortable, with most modern equipment and tastefully presented. The grand sized bed is as comfortable as it gets and a great nights rest. Our hosts, Michael and Sheila, are a delight. The welcome was fantastic, and without being intrusive in any way at all, we felt very well looked after and advised. We certainly plan to come back here. It's a great base for Kilkenny, Waterford and the areas in between. Thank you very much. Very highy recommended, indeed.

My partner and I had a great time here, it was a really lovely place which the owners have taken great care and expense to fit out. Everything was shiney and new, and had great facilites. I particularly enjoyed the absolutely massive HD flatscreen smartTV. The bed was huge and comfortable too. Toilets and shower great (including bidet!). The owners, Michael and Shile, were really friendly and obliging, and provided all we needed. And we had a nice chat to them afterwards too. Kilkenny city is nearby (20 mins drive) and there is a lovely place to eat - Cafe Sol - in nearby Thomastown. Will certainly be back again.

The first thing to be said is that Michael and Sheila, the owners, go absolutely above and beyond to ensure everything is as it should be (or better, really!) - without ever running the risk of being invasive/intrusive. Always there if we needed them, seemingly never there if we didn't - they are good, kind people and really maximised our enjoyment of our week long stay here (even lending us a film or two and providing Christmas cake and mince pies on our arrival!). The property itself is spotlessly clean, modern, wonderfully decorated with Michael's own gorgeous landscape photography and a real luxury to call home for the week - especially the enormous, comfy bed! The TV is huge and has all the features you could ever want - Netflix, Youtube, Skype... everything. The speaker system is awesome and Michael is always keen to help if anything gets too confusing. All the rooms have perfect furnishings, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, cosy bedroom and amazing bathroom with a lovely shower. The nearest town is just a mile away along one road and has two big supermarkets which was extremely useful as well as several pubs, churches and other amenities that we found helpful, and Kilkenny itself is really a very short drive away. The real beauty of the location is that despite its proximity to necessary services, it is sooo quiet and really does feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, which is just what we wanted. The views from the large windows are absolutely incredible and there's a lovely garden to sit and enjoy the landscape in, if you're lucky with the weather, as well as lots of places to go walking - as we did in Mount Juliet's grounds - just down the road. Really couldn't rate it highly enough, everything was just perfect and when we had one or two minor hitches with blown fuses/water problems, Michael was on the phone in minutes and round to sort the problem as soon as possible - sending a plumber instantly to inspect in the meantime. Just perfect. We will remember this trip for a long time, and will hopefully be back soon!

Couldn't ask for nicer hosts and apartment. Really central position to visit Kilkenny,the River Barrow and River Nore villages and surrounds. Loved the early morning strolls through Mount Juliet and all river walks
