With one of the best views in Ireland our comfortable cottage is ideal for families, close to sheltered and unspoilt Glanleam beach. Valentia is connected to the mainland of County Kerry by a bridge and a ferry service. You can take a boat trip to the Skellig Islands from Valentia or Portmagee - a must for Star Wars film fans and those wishing to experience a unique Unesco World Heritage site. The cottage which is over 200 years old is privately owned and is one of a pair that were originally part of the Knight of Kerry's Glanleam Estate. Gort Gower is a beautiful, peacefull haven on the island of Valentia. We had lovely weather for the time of year and the views from the cottage are stunning. Would highly recommend for a 'get away from it all' holiday.
