The house is on 2 floors with 1 double bedroom with en-suite downstairs. This bedroom is accessible from the hall for anyone in a wheelchair. There is a further double bedroom, a twin room, with 2 single beds and a double bed settee. and a bathroom upstairs.There is also a toilet and wash basin off the main hallway.

The huge L-shaped kitchen /dining room/ lounge has a tv and dvd player. Patio doors lead to a barbecue area in a large garden overlooking Kenmare Bay, with views over to the Beara Penninsula and the Caha Mountains. A perfect place to sit on a summer afternoon. There is a large grassed area where children can play safely.
The kitchen is fully equipet with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and drying racks. There is a washing line outside.
There is an open fire in the lounge for cosy evenings. A complementary bag of firewood is provided, more can be bought from the owner.
Oil central heating and electricity is charged for by meter reading.We will read the meters before arrival and before you are leaving.

All bed linen and towels are provided. If your stay is for more than one week, the linen will be changed weekly.
A stair gate can be fitted if needed.
A cot is available for small visitors, please request on booking.

There are several places to go horse riding within a few miles.
Sea fishing trips run regularly from Sneem and Kenmare, there is also salmon fishing in local rivers (with permit).
The owner can smoke or freeze any fish caught if you are able to take it home with you. The owner (JS Woodcraft) produces beautiful handcrafted wooden items, some of them on display in Stone House.
The owner can arrange an organised barbecue party with local produce ( bring your own beer).
Sneem is 6km away with a good selection of pubs, cafes and shops and a Tuesday market. Free wi-fi is available in the village. Kenmare is a little further away and bigger with plenty of shops, pubs restaurants and cafes. Also a good market on Wednesday.
The house will sleep 8 visitors if necessary at a small extra charge. (bed settee in twin room).

We have stayed in this place for 3 days. The house was clean and we had everything we were looking for. They even have a barbecue outside. The location is amazing and it's very close to the ring of Kerry.
We spent one week in August at this lovely and quiet place. Perfectly equipped and a very good base for trips on the ring of kerry. We really loved it.
