About the neighbourhood
Wheatfield is situated on the Ring of Beara, 10km from the heritage town of Kenmare. Nearby attractions include Dereen Gardens, Gleninchaquin Waterfall, Star Sailing and Outdoor Adventure Centre. There is horse riding nearby and sailing and diving in Killmacillogue Harbour. There is excellent fishing, river lake and sea.
Getting around
A Car/motorbike is a must imo with the house about 2km of the main road and very limited public transport in the area. Would not advise to come to this property without one.
*Cycling might be an option bearing in mind there is a 2km uphill trek 2 the house with a steap gradient. Might need to walk the bike up for some parts.
