Sands Cottage is a magical place. The gardens and trails in the tall grasses were beautiful and so fun for the Grands. We are a family of 12 ages 3-72 and this cottage was absolutely perfect. We all fell in love with it and the area. Beaches are close by and quick trips into Castlegregory for supplies were easy.
There was ample room for all the family to have their own bedroom all with their own baths. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Ample room in the sitting room for all to be comfortable. Oonagh the house manager was wonderful. Quickly responded to any question however she explained everything when we checked in so we didnt really have many. She was pleasant, very friendly and quite delightful. It truly is a magical place, we were sad to leave.

Fantastic house. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Oonagh and could not have felt more at home. The house was fantastic with great gardens and secret walks for the kids to explore. Kitchen was Modern and spacious for the 12 of us. Could not recommend this more. Thanks very much for making our stay in Ireland so wonderful.

The perfect spot for a multi-generational gatherin...
The perfect spot for a multi-generational gathering…spacious and well-appointed. All the bedrooms have en suites which was perfect for a large group. We highly recommend Sands Cottage and Oonagh the house manager was especially accommodating!

GREAT COTTAGE AND STAY
Our group of 6 women simply loved the cottage and its location on Dingle Peninsula. The cottage was cozy and it perfectly suited us in terms of accommodations, location and amenities. It was easy to be in touch with Michael, our contact person, who addressed several of our questions as they arose.

Finest in the west
Sands Cottage is a bit like a tarnished 5 large bedrooms all en suite meant our 4 families all had their own space. The lounge was cosy and homely but quite stylish. The kitchen had everything that you could need. Set in a lovely garden there are views to the sea and you can walk to the village where there is a Spar and a range of other shops and restaurants.
