Interaction with guests
We love to meet our guests and chat with them. We offer a glass of bubbly on arrival to help our guests settle in. We are very happy to suggest itineraries, restaurants, places to visit, best places for walking and shopping etc. As former Londoners we're very familiar with that city and its nightlife too.

About the neighbourhood
Harlington is a pretty village, on the edge of, and having views over, the Chilterns AONB. There are many listed buildings in the village. Food is a feature. There are two pubs in the village, one of which serves good pub grub. Within a couple of miles there are excellent gastropubs. Slightly further afield (6 miles away is the Anchor, which serves genuine haute cuisine. Luton, 7 miles away, has some top rate Indian restaurants. The house is a short walk from wonderful walking country. The National Trust has extensive landholdings in the area. We also only a short distance from Woburn Abbey, Wrest Park and Bletchley Park. The Shuttleworth Collection, with its extraordinary stock of historic aircraft is a short drive away.
Getting around
Communications are fantastic. We are 1.5 miles from the M1, junction 12. Harlington station, 300 yards away, has mainline rail services to London Saint Pancras International Station ( with its Eurostar links) and Bedford. Journey time to St Pancras is just 43 minutes. Thameslink services from Harlington run all the way to Brighton, stopping at numerous Central London Termini. London Luton airport is just 12 minutes train ride away, whilst Heathrow airport is a 40 minute car journey.
