About the neighbourhood
Isla Saboga is an undeveloped island in the bay of Panama, just 35 miles from Panama City. Dozens of secluded, deserted beaches and miles of trails through the tropical jungle are here to explore. Or you can just relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Saboga was the filming location for three seasons of CBS's Survivor TV series, and it retains all the beauty and natural environment. If you can imagine what Hawaii must have been like 100 years ago, Saboga and the Pearl Islands will give you a hint.
How to get there
There are two ferries that depart from the city and come out to the islands. One leaves from the Trump Tower hotel, the other from the Balboa Yacht Club in Amador. Both ferries depart at approximately 7:30 AM and return to the city in the afternoon. The ferry from the Trump Tower comes directly to Saboga. The Balboa Yacht Club ferry goes to Contadora, but it is only a 15 minutes ride in a water taxi(panga) from there to Saboga.
Air Panama also has daily flights to Contadora from the airport in Albrook.
