Come and stay at our log cabin, for a truly unique experience. It is a beautiful scandinavian style log cabin located on three acres of woodland garden. Relax and unwind with your children and explore our woodland garden, hours of fun and imagination to be had in our tree house. Picnic by the pond, bbq on the deck, watch the sun set from the balcony. Ideally located 10 kms from Kilkenny city, locally enjoying Gowran Park Golf and Race course.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with a double bed and balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. There is an adjoining childrens room with two childrens beds 70cm x 160cm and sharing bathroom/shower facilities.

The cosiest most idyllic cabin
We had such an amazing stay at Clover Cabin, the cabin itself is so cosy and idyllic and has everything you might need. There is a local bar, Chinese and shops just a few minutes away. We recommend trying glasrai and goodies for a takeaway lunch! Our three daughters enjoyed playing outside in the sand pit and treehouse and reading books tucked up on the couch. It was such a nice peaceful break away from city life and we will most definitely be back soon. Huge thanks to Fergal & Annette :)

Short stay
Family of five adults we had a wonderful enjoyable stay in clover cabin, very comfortable. Very easy to access Kilkenny city's great night life. Fergal was a great host

Clover Cabin
We had a wonderful stay at Clover Cabin,highly recommended to families in particular. It's a little piece of heaven ,so tranquil,spotless, and out of the ordinary for those looking for something extra special.

5 Star Family Getaway
It was our 3d time in Clover Cabin and definitely not the last one, absolutely stunning and such a great place to relax and run away from the city. Plenty to do for the kids while parents can enjoy some peace and quiet. Hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, looking forward to another stay!

Great escape
Loved our stay at Clover Cabin. Great to find a place family centred with lots to do for young kids.
Place was spotless and had all we needed. Hosts were very friendly and had good communication. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place I have ever stayed it's a home from home the kids loved it there and it was so safe we loved the fresh eggs and the kids loved the crispy buns we will definitely be back fergal was fantastic host nothing was two much for him

Fantastic getaway
The most amazing tranquil & peaceful cabin to enjoy some downtime but yet only 10minutes from Kilkenny city and all it’s attractions. We stayed with our 4 kids from baby to teen and everyone loved the place.. highly recommend and would definitely be back! The climbing frames in the garden were definitely a bonus!!

A brilliant weekend at Clover Cabin, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny
We had a wonderful stay at Clover Cabin! It was total bliss! An absolutely beautiful place for a relaxing family break. The Cabin and surrounding garden are beautiful. Fergal and Annette have thought of all of the details and necessities. It's a credit to them both. We would highly recommend it for a tranquil break. Plenty to do for adults and kids alike. So peaceful yet still only a short drive to plenty of amenities.

Superb in every aspect
Second stay, equally as good as the first one. Fergal and Annette are perfect hosts, there when you need them but never intrusive. The cabin itself is top quality with everything you could need. Fergal made sure the fire was lit before we arrived so the cabin was warm and welcoming. There is a bit of a problem 'though - there is only one Clover Cabin, so advise book ASAP or you will miss this exceptional high quality experience.

Super Stay in a Wonderful Setting
We had a beautiful stay in the Cabin. Fergal and Annette are fabulous hosts and the cabin was spotless. Amazing location and Sparky the family's pet was such added charm. Can't wait to return.

We’re just a ten-minute drive from Kilkenny city’s many attractions, and a short skip to Gowran Park Race and Golf Course. It's also a great base for exploring Tipperary, Wexford, and Waterford.
If you’re bringing the family, there’s loads for your little ones to do at the cabin itself – sandpits, a tree house and play area.
There are two covered deck areas, meaning you’re good to go even if the Irish rain decides to fall. The garden is planted with native trees and features a pond, encouraging lots of flora and fauna to the area.
We’re located just 5km from the M9 linking Dublin to Waterford. Gowran is a stop on the main Dublin to Waterford bus route, with buses running 10 times or more a day.
