The Lazy Fish is a beautifully converted barn offering luxurious accommodation in The Lake District.
Situated close to the market towns of Cockermouth and Keswick it offers the perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
The interior of the barn has a high quality contemporary finish. Eco-friendly underfloor heating keeps the barn warm and there is the added bonus of a stunning wood burning stove.
There is a walk-in shower or a huge bath in the main bathroom allows for lengthy soaking. Alternatively enjoy the bubbles and warmth of the outdoor hot tub.
The kitchen is excellently equipped for those people who enjoy cooking, or you can order in home cooked meals.
Check-in only possible on Mondays or Fridays

Railway: Penrith: 40.0 km
From the M6 head west on the A66 until you have passed Bassenthwaite Lake and you see signs for Embleton village. Carry on until you see a left turn signposted Lorton Buttermere. Take this left and travel 800m up a hill. Turn left at the junction towards Wythop Mill.
400m down the road turn right opposite St Cuthberts Church up a private lane. The Lazy Fish is adjacent to the first house on the left.
