Parcay-les-Pins, Maine et Loire, Pays de la Loire
A lovely little cottage(go to rentafrenchgitedotcom) attached to our 18th century French farmhouse, sitting in the Loire Valley region of France. Away from the main roads, sitting next to beautiful forests, we are beside the regional and national cycle networks and within easy reach of the chateaux of the Loire Valley.
Peaceful woodland walks, visits to the nearby Lac de Rille and the delights of the nearby vineyards await, as well as the breath taking sunsets and scenery on your doorstep. If you can tear yourself away, the delights of the Loire Valley, with its magnificent chateaux and gardens, as well the splendid cities of Angers and Tours all lie within an hour.

This was the best part of our summer holidays! The area is stunning with many different and interesting towns nearby to visit. The gite itself is stunning - very comfortable with everything you need, bedroom is especially nice, with lovely views over the countryside and a very comfy bed. There is a lake nearby (10min drive) that you can swim...

Management response:

I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay, and glad you appreciated everything this lovely area has to offer. Nothing is ever too much trouble for such great guests - please come back soon. Jo

If you like being in rural France, near to pretty villages, amazing chateau and, of course, some of the most famous and talented wine makers and food producers in the world, you will love staying here. Add to the mix a charming, tastefully renovated gite, and you're almost in paradise. However, not so fast! Jo and Paul also happen to...

Management response:

We have just spent a phenomenal 10 days at this venue, and it is out of this world - literally. right in the heart of rural France; the loudest noise is the birds, and the sound a lizard makes, scurrying across the chippings! And yet, it seems, the gite is only about half an hour away from everything: Chateaux, Wine...

Management response:

Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to have you stay, and I am so glad you enjoyed your time here: look forward to seeing you both again. Jo

About the neighbourhood
Les Hautes Guissinieres is a very pretty and peaceful area, situated along a lane in a small hamlet of four homes next to the beautiful forest which forms part of the regional park, and is ideal for walking and cycling, both of which can be done through the woods and surrounding paths to explore the breathtakingly beautiful countryside here. The chateaux of the Loire are within easy reach, as are many other attractions.
