A well furnished, luxurious annexe adjoining a beautiful old rectory overlooking the Welland valley. Close to the borders of Northamptonshire, Rutland and Leicestershire we're ideally placed to visit Rockingham Castle, Rutland Water and Burghley House. It's an idyllic spot with a wonderful sense of space and gorgeous views, and as the property is all on one level it's easily accessible. There is plenty of off-road parking and lovely mature gardens to enjoy.
One bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite with bath. The second room has twin beds with ensuite shower. Gretton is a large, friendly village just a hop over the Welland river from Rutland. Well situated near Uppingham, Corby, Stamford and Market Harborough and some beautiful villages, there's plenty of places to visit. In the village we have three pubs, a sports club with multi use games area, coffee shop, post office and churches. Corby is only a couple of miles away with large supermarkets, the pretty market towns of Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford are all within a twenty-five minute drive and Leicester, Cambridge and Northampton are reachable within an hour to an hour and a half.
Getting around
It is preferable to have transport but we are close to Corby train station. Market Harborough, Stamford and Kettering stations are about 20 mins drive away London is one hour on the train.
