Old Ollerton is a conservation area on the very doorstep of Sherwood Forest in an area known as the Dukeries. Rufford Abbey is one mile and Sherwood Forest, with the famous Major Oak, Sherwood Pines, Centre Parcs and Clumber Park are just a few minutes drive. The village itself is home to the oldest working watermill in the country, which also houses a splendid tearoom, Ollerton Watermill Teashop.

Savile House dates from the 1800's and has spent it's life as a variety of shops including tobacconist, fruiterer & post office.Savile House has an enclosed rear patio garden with seating and a rear parking space for one car.
The bathroom is upstairs and has a shower over the bath. We have fibre WiFi and full central heating, along with a cast iron electric stove in the lounge.

About the neighbourhood
Ollerton Village is a conservation area on the doorstep of Sherwood Forest. In the village itself is a lovely tearoom The Watermill Teashop, an Italian Restaurant and the Hop Pole Hotel.
We are just a mile from Rufford Abbey Park. Sherwood Pines, with Segways, mountain bikes and GoApe is 3 miles away. Clumber Park is 6 miles. Of course, the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest is just a couple of miles up the road in Edwinstowe where you will also find a craft centre and a variety of village shops and restaurants.
Southwell is a beautiful town with it's magnificent minster and the old workhouse, 12 miles away.
You can get to Nottingham and Lincoln in 45 mins; and to the peak district (Chatsworth House etc) in an hour by car.
Getting around
Ollerton has a good bus service that can take you into Edwinstowe, Mansfield or to Nottingham and surrounding villages.

How to get there
We are in the centre of Ollerton Old Village, just off the A614 Rufford Road.
Savile House is opposite the Bridal Shop and White Hart Hotel.
We have a shared driveway at the side that leads to our parking area. Please note that it is a tight corner to reverse out from. Further parking is available on the road outside Hamlyn Antiques.
From the parking area is a gate to the back garden area. To the right of the back door is the key safe where you will get your keys and leave them when you depart.
