Hope Thatch is the oldest house in the delightful South Devon village of Malborough. Dating back to 1650, it is Grade II listed and provides cosy and very comfortable holiday accommodation for 5 to 7 guests in a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom, with a further 2 guests able to be accomodated on the lounge sofa bed. It's sympathetic refurbishment has ensured that it's original character has been preserved and the cottage still boasts a wealth of original features including a slate fireplace (now with log-burning stove) and exposed beams. Fabulous newly refurbed kitchen and bathroom whilst still keeping origial features. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. Hope thatch has all the modcons wifi xbox etc. Salcombe, Hope Cove and Kingsbridge are nearby with a range of shops and restaurants. As well as the two local...More
