Kineton is a traditional village, well serviced with local shops including two convenience stores, a butchers, a public house, and a florist. For those occasions when you dot fancy cooking, there is a local pub, a cafe, an Indian restaurant and a fish and chip shop. All are 1 minutes walking distance from the property which is hidden away in the centre of the village. Kineton has a riding stables and there are many country walks including along the River Dene and around Edge Hill on the 'Battlefields Trail'. The area attracts many for bike riding, and offers trails suitable for children, away from the traffic, through the English countryside, . Getting around
There are several local bus routes offering journeys to Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa and Banbury as well as Garden's Heritage Motor Museum and to Compton Verny art gallery. From Banbury station there are direct train routes to Marylebone station in London, with a fast train journey time of just over 1 hour, and also to Bicester Designer shopping outlet.
