This was a perfect base for an autumn weekend break. The apartment, in a thick stone walled farm outbuilding was warm and welcoming, very characterful and well equiped.The fresh milk and cookies were appreciated and all the basics ( oil, condiments etc) were also available....More

If you are coming from Macclesfield town centre you need to head out of Macclesfield on the A537 Buxton Road (This is the junction with the Arighi Bianchi Store on the left hand corner). Go up Buxton Road for approximately 1 mile until the road curves slightly left, here you will see Buxton Old Road going off on your right. Take Buxton Old Road and follow it for another mile. You will drop down into a dip which has Back Eddisbury Road on your left and slightly further down Broadcar Road will be on your right.
