Four Star, Gold Award, secluded character cottage.

Upstairs there are two pleasantly decorated double rooms (one with a king-size bed, the other a double bed) and one twin bedroom. A comfortable king size sofa bed, with memory foam mattress can be found in the recently extended 25ft downstairs lounge. There is a fully equipped first floor bathroom, and a separate ground floor wet room (including wc). The dining room seats eight, and the kitchen comes complete with a two-oven Aga, separate electric double oven, microwave and hob plus a vast array of kitchen utensils and implements, providing guests with everything to ensure a relaxing stay.

The lounge houses books; games; dvds; a 47” Smart television with freesat; DVD player, iPod docking station and Xbox360 Kinect. The property also has free Wi-Fi.

We know guests value their privacy. We will be as visible or invisible as you want us to be! We will not bother you, but do remember we can easily be contacted by phone, text, iMessage, email or WhatsApp. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you need anything, or if something isn’t quite right for you. We really do mean that! Don't struggle with something if you think we can help. Ed the gardener visits on a Wednesday afternoon, but do not feel you have to go out. He is very friendly and trustworthy. We arrive at 9.45am on your day of departure to check everything has been okay for you. Do let us know if you'll be leaving before 10am as we do like to see guests if we can.

Pets are very welcome, at a small charge of £60 per pet, per week, or £10 per pet per day. Do let us know at the time of booking so we can add this to your quote. If you have prepaid for your holiday, then any monies due for pets must be paid via PayPal.
Occupancy over 8 guests (regardless of age) is charged at an additional £60 per guest per week, or £10 per guest per day if staying less than one week. Maximum of 10 Guests (No more than 8 adults). Please let us know when booking, so we can adjust your quote accordingly. If you have prepaid for your holiday, then an additional payment must be paid via PayPal.
Guests agree to be invoiced, and pay for, any damage or extra cleaning incurred over a value of £25.

About the neighbourhood
The seaside town of Ventnor hails from the Victorian era. This family friendly coastal resort is only a 10 minute drive away, with a lovely seafront and award winning beach.Ventnor town has an array of shops and restaurants where you can enjoy freshly caught local crab and lobster. The antique and bric-a-brac stores are perfect for browsing. Ventnor even has its’ own brewery, using water from the local spring.The village of Niton is half a mile away. This has a post office, tea room, convenience store, hardware and book shop, pharmacy, surgery, hairdressers and the excellent White Lion pub. Getting around
Niton is on a regular bus route - perfect if you want to leave the car at home and do some walking. The Island also has extensive cycle routes if you are feeling active and cycle hire shops will deliver and collect from the cottage. Otherwise, we would recommend a car for exploring the Island.

There are several ferry routes to the Island. Red Funnel and Wightlink operate from Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington. The drive to Camellia cottage is 35 minutes from any of the Island ports.
