Welcome to our exclusive family house in it's unique position overlooking Bonchurch and Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. The house boasts fabulous sea views, and backs onto St Boniface Down with private gated access. Only a ten minute walk to Ventnor town centre and the beach. Great location for activity holidays such as cycling, walking, golf, sailing and many great island attractions.
Shenstone is a beautifully stone built Victorian semi-detached house and is situated just off the road towards Shanklin. It has gated access with off-road parking for up to 3 cars. 6 of us stayed here whilst on a cycling weekend. The house is of a great size and is well equipped. There is no garden as such but there is a lovely raised decking area that offers sea views. It’s an easy walk into Ventnor...More

Wonderful house, great furniture, beds very comfy. kitchen very well equipped. Our stay went to soon, would have loved to stay longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

The accommodation comprises a generous sitting room with comfortable sofas, TV, XBox 360 and a selection of games.
Double doors opening out on to the parking area and garden.
Large dining room with table and 8 chairs, bookcase with a selection of books and games with a view overlooking Ventnor.
The kitchen can seat 6, is well equipped and furnished with a cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, clothes pulley maid and a wood burning stove.
The kitchen leads on to a back alleyway with steep steps leading to a gate that opens onto St Boniface Down with endless scenic views and great walks. At the other end there is an outside utility room with loo, belfast sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Walking:-With over 500 of miles of signposted footpaths and vast amounts of unrivalled natural beauty, it is no surprise that the Isle of Wight is a top UK walking destination. The astounding diversity in such a small relative area coupled with the mild climate makes the island a great year round walking spot, Carmel is set on the Coastal footpath which circumnavigates the island.
Cycling: Whether on or off road, the island is a great location for cyclists of all ages and abilities. The cycle track running from Sandown to Cowes has proved highly popular since its opening in 2004.

On leaving the ferry port head for Arreton take the A3056 towards Shanklin.
Pick up the signs to Wroxhall and follow the B3327into Ventnor. Follow the A3055 to wards Shanklin look for the house on the left within 200 yards of turning onto the A3055.
It takes about half an hour from the ferry port.
