Flat 3, Elizabeth House, Hambrough Road is located in the town centre just a couple of minutes' stroll down the cascade to the beach. Situated opposite the Winter Gardens, it is a great location to explore the delights of Ventnor. Many excellent pubs and restaurants are nearby.

Within the property you can relax in the living room with French doors to a balcony overlooking Ventnor Haven, and onto extensive sea views of the English channel. The lounge has a TV/DVD/CD player, a sofa bed, dining table and chairs plus a gas fire. There is WI-FI and USB charging ports in the apartment.

Retreat to the master bedroom with its kingsize bed and comfortable chairs. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the fishing boats coming and going.

If you like retro you'll like this tired old flat, in need of 21st century overhaul. Entrance to building can only be described as utilitarian with damp patches & peeling wallpaper. 20 stairs to flat, not for less able bodied ! Comfortable main bedroom although lounge less so, with only 1 chair and an uncomfortable bed-settee. Parking a lottery.

Management response:

The entrance is to the block of apartments is scheduled to be renovated after the season at my request -to avoid disruption. The 20 stairs to the first floor gives you the outstanding views. Every winter we upgrade parts of the flat. I'll look into the sofa-bed.

See above - the apartment is 1 minute from the Co-op supermarket, very useful. Lovely view of the small harbour and sea. Everything you would want including dishwasher and washing machine. Elizabeth very helpful. Parking is easy enough though you may have to look for a spot not to far away. Nice quiet place despite being next to the Winter...
