These are spacious, detached and very comfortable double glazed Finnish holiday lodges with 3 bedrooms to accommodate up to 6 people. With a spacious and light living/dining room with patio doors and windows, looking over the countryside, the lounge has a TV and DVD player, comfortable sofas and plenty of space for a family of 6. There is a dining table and 6 chairs. The kitchen is well appointed with cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge / freezer, crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment, pots, pans etc. There are three bedrooms, the master bedroom with a double bed & en-suite shower room, the other two twin bedrooms each have two single beds. The family bathroom has a bath and a shower over the bath. Heating by individually thermostatically controlled electric panel heaters. Here you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and explore the spectacular Heritage coast, just 2 miles from Woolsery village with a shop and a post office, with easy access to the North Devon Costal Path. Visit Hartland Quay just a few miles away to see the spectacular cliffs with their incredibly contorted rock layers and at low tide there is plenty of sand, rock pools and rocks to scramble over. Each lodge is surrounded by beautiful countryside with unspoilt views, with garden furniture for you to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Set amidst landscaped gardens, ponds, woodland and a river valley which covers 1000 acres and is home to herds of wild deer, yet is just 8 miles away from North Devon's beautiful Heritage coastline. Located within a private 150 acre countryside estate with abundant wildlife, fauna, thousands of trees of many varieties, farm tracks for walking and a bird hide. Just 2 miles from the village of Woolsery (Woolfardisworthy) with a shop/post office and pub serving food. Guests at Hartland Forest have access to the Penstowe Manor leisure facilities 10 minutes away at Kilkhampton where facilities include 22 metre tropically heated indoor pool, outdoor heated pool with children's pool, sauna and jacuzzi, large multi-purpose sport hall available for badminton, five-a-side football and other activities. There are also 3 full sized indoor bowls rinks, a squash court, pool tables, table tennis, amusement arcade, giant widescreen TV, cabaret suite, lounge bar and restaurant. Penstowe Manor has a large sunbathing terrace, beer garden and tennis court, plus children's play area, set in the mature and beautiful Manor gardens with the heated outdoor pool and children's pool. Use of Leisure Facilities including Swimming Pools at Penstowe Manor costs approx £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children. Dotted around the park is a collection of Scandinavian style timber lodges nestled between the trees, surrounded by grass and close to the lakes. All of these have ample living space with patio doors opening onto gardens and fantastic views. The lodges have three bedrooms, en-suite shower room and a family bathroom, all the beds are made up for your arrival. There is a large open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing self catering holiday with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The dining area includes a large table and seating for six – eight people. The lounge is large with great views, it has two sofas, TV, DVD player and patio doors. Electric thermostatic heating throughout, electricity is included in the rent price. Bed linen is also included in the rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Garden furniture to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Well behaved dogs welcome in some lodges, extra charges apply, please request a dog friendly lodge when booking. Hartland Forest nestles close to the Atlantic coast of North Devon, on the South West of England, close to Clovelly, a traditional fishing village renowned the world over for its flower strewn cottages and steep cobbled streets. From junction 27 of the M5 take the North Devon Link Road (A361), bypass the town of Barnstaple on to the A39 towards Bideford and Bude. Cross the bridge at Bideford, bypassing the town and continuing towards Bude. Pass through Fairy Cross, Horns Cross and Bucks Cross and at Clovelly Cross, a roundabout with adjacent garage, continue straight on towards Bude.
