This is a new (2018) detached, self catering holiday barn situated on a beautiful country site on our beef and sheep farm. The accommodation is located 1 mile from Upper Lough Erne, in County Fermanagh. The barn is nestled at the edge of Knockninny Hill which is a very popular site for hill walkers and bird watchers. Upper Lough Erne is only 1 mile away from property where boat hire, picnic tables and a man made beach is available. Many fishermen enjoy this area too. Our barn sleeps 5 adults and there is also a cot. A mattress is available for extra guests. The accommodation is ideal for families, couple and friends. Derrylin village is just 2 miles away and the lakeside town of Enniskillen is just 10 to 15 minutes away. The barn has 2 bed rooms - one consists of a double bed and a cot, and the other bedroom consists of a double bed and a single bed. There is a shower room directly beside both of these bedrooms. Downstairs there is a living room/dining area, a kitchen, a shower room/toilet, and a large size cupboard. The living room has a log burning stove of which sticks are available off the farm. There is a TV, CD player and DVD player in the living room also. There is also a washing machine in the property for guest use. Guests are welcome to view the cows and calves and the sheep and lambs on the farm. We hope you have a pleasant stay with us at Knockninny Barn and if there is anything you need just let us know. About the neighbourhood
The house is half of a mile away from the main Dublin to Enniskillen Road. The accommodation is in a private area with a beautiful view over the Fermanagh Countryside. Derrylin village is just 2 miles away where there is a carry out, a Chinese, a chemist, boutique, coffee shops and 2 grocery shops.
Getting around
Buses leave Derrylin every hour to Dublin Airport and there are frequent buses to Enniskillen daily. A car is essential but there is a lot to do for those who like to travel on foot or bicycles.
