Holiday Rental House
This recently renovated two bedroom barn sits behind our home and was originally built to provide a laundry and store rooms for the farm cottages built in 1873. The Little Bothy has been thoughtfully restored and extended to provide a modern, self contained cottage sleeping four people. Imaginatively designed and finished to a very high standard, the barn offers luxury and comfort in abundance. Perfect for a romantic getaway - quiet, peaceful and relaxing for just the two of you. Alternatively, book our other cottage, Rest and be Thankful, and have a get together with friends or family. We can sleep up to eight in both cottages. The Little Bothy features an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with wood burner make it truly a home from home. Super comfy beds, high quality bed line...This recently renovated two bedroom barn sits behind our home and was originally built to provide a laundry and store rooms for the farm cottages built in 1873. Fridge and small freezer space. Free WiFi. A laundry service is available by request for a small charge. The Little Bothy has it's own courtyard with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. The orchard is also yours to walk in, or sit and have coffee or a glass of wine. Off road secure parking is available for two cars. Set in an idyllic location, relax in the orchard with a book or walk in the local nature reserves and maybe spot deer, foxes, badgers and red kites flying overhead. With easy access to the A1, A47 and A14, it is the ideal base from which to explore everything this beautiful and undiscovered area has to offer. There are local shops, pubs and restaurants within 2 miles. Our water is sourced from a natural water supply from a spring. Interaction with guests
We are usually here to welcome guests when they arrive but if not, a key safe holds the key to the door! The barn is self contained so you can enjoy your own privacy but we are here to help or advise on local attractions or eateries if you need us. There are plenty of leaflets and suggestions of places to eat in the welcome pack so that you can plan what to do and see during your stay.

Excellent cottage with first class facilities. Kathryn ( the owner ) was very friendly and helpful. We were down on business at the East of England showground which is easily accessible from the cottage.

Lovely wee place. Beautifully converted from farm outbuildings. Small but perfectly formed. Comfortable and well equipped within the space. No room for a washing machine or dishwasher, but room for a wood burner, which in my view is much more desirable. Orchard outside to walk...More
