About the neighbourhood
The neighborhood is peaceful with lush gardens and is situated close to the Royal Manor and the Royal summer residence where you will feel as if being in the countryside and still only 12 minutes from the city center by ferry/bus.
I recommend my guests to take a morning run around parts of the Bygdøy-peninsula, take a bath on one of the nearby beaches and barbeque while watching the boats to/from the harbor.
I recommend my guests to take their children on a visit to the Royal manor, to watch the sheep, cows and horses and let them go for a ride on one of the ponies.
The peninsula has many interesting museums worth visiting, all within walking distance from the house:
- The Folk Museum
- The Vikingship museum
- The Kontiki museum
- The Fram museum
- The Maritime museum
