About the neighbourhood
The Barn is only 9 miles from the County Town of Haverfordwest with all it'samenities and yet it feels miles from anywhere! In the height of summer it is unusual to be able to be so close to the coast and yet be so peaceful and secluded. It is situated in an area of country lanes with flowering hedges and fields, wonderful for cycling and walking. It is only 1 mile from the Coastal Path. Go in one direction and you come to Little Haven with it's cafes and restaurants and the blue flag family resort of Broad Haven. A little further along the coast are the sweep of Newgale Sands, popular with surfers. In another direction are wild sandstone cliffs leading to isolated sands and coves. St. Brides Haven is idyllic and famous for it's clear diving and snorkelling in a marine park. A short driv...
Getting around
In summer the small Puffin buses go to all the beaches.
