About the neighbourhood
Little Haven is a small fishing village, with a beautiful sandy beach. When the tide is out it is possible to walk across the beach to the village of Broad Haven. Little Haven has 3 excellent pubs together with a cafe, a pottery shop and small art gallery. The coastal path walks in either direction from Little Haven are beautiful. The bay offers water sports as well as plenty of rock pools to discover and the opportunity of making sand castles for smaller children.
How to get there
M4 westbound to end of motorway (exit 49). At end of M4 take A48 to Carmarthen. At Carmarthen take A40 to Haverfordwest. In Haverfordwest follow signs for town centre. Go up High Street. At top of hill (library on right) follow High Street round to left. Turn right at traffic lights by Post Office, sign to Dale and Broad Haven (B4341). Immediately go into left hand lane and follow road round to the left passing Tesco and Travis Perkins on your left. At Bellevue pub take right fork towards Broad Haven. Carry on for 4-5 miles through Portfield Gate, then Broadway. Pass small filling station on your right and soon after that on sharp right hand bend, follow sign off left to Little Haven. Follow winding single track road. After church take second left turn signposted to Little Haven. Follow road down steep hill into village.
