Balaia Residence is a brand new privately owned condominium built to an excellent standard, with electric gated access and video telecom. Our 2 bedroom house has 3 terrace areas, outside brick built BBQ and sink, private front garden leading onto the beautiful large gardens with a swimming pool and a separate childs pool. There is a childs play area situated away from the main pool and gardens. The front terraces and the bedroom terrace are south facing, so get the sun from early morning to late afternoon. The house has air conditioning, electric shutters and a contemporary design throughout. This is a small relaxing complex with only a very few available for holiday lettings. Ideally placed for golf, restaurants, shops and the 5* Spa resort.

Booking with Tracey was easy and she was very helpful. The property met all our expectations and more. We have stayed in this area before and this is one of the nicest. It was like a home from home - everything you need is there! The pool area was fairly quiet our first week but was quite busy the second...

Excellent spacious apartment with very good pool. When we went in June it was quiet and the two boys had total access to the pool. Private and enclosed. You'll probably need a car to get about as we did

The main bedroom has a double bed, a large double wardrobe , a dressing table with large mirror over and
patio doors which lead onto its own terrace, overlooking the pool.and has an Air conditioning Unit

The second bedroom has twin beds and a large double wardrobe, dressing table and mirror over, and has a Air Conditioning Unit.

All beds are larger than the standard single.

There are 2 Z beds available.

The spacious lounge has patio doors which lead out onto the main terrace and BBQ area.

There is also a 1st floor rear terrace with patio table and chairs.

Ground floor w.c and basin.

About the neighbourhood
Balaia is located in central Algarve between Vilamoura and Albuferia and is a 20 minute walk to Albuferia. The Sandstone cliffs, the almond and pine trees along with the goldern sandy beaches make it one of the hidden gems of the Algarve.

There is also an award winning 9-hole golf course, its home to a putting green, driving range, golf academy and professional coaching is available if required.

How to get there
Airport: Faro: 30.0 km
Railway: Albuferia: 4.0 km
Fly to FARO Airport, it is about 30 kilometres from Balaia. Easyjet, Jet2 & Monarch all fly into Faro. You can take a taxi from the airport or we can arrange transfers for you for approx 70 Euros return.

If you are driving:
Follow the main exit out of Faro airport. About 5 or 6 Km, take EN125/IC2 west towards Alburfeira/Portimao. This is and old road and you will be on it for approx 2 or 3 Km. Look for the signs to the highway A22 towards Albufeira. Follow A22 for about 20KM and take the Albuferia exit. Follow the road for approx 2-3Km, until you come to a roundabout. At the roundabout take a left. Go straight. At the 3rd roundabout, take a right and follow the road through a shopping area. At the next roundabout take a left. On your left you will see Balaia Golf Village
