I have only good words for this place! If you are looking for some quiet accommodation near Florence this one is a good option. It's easy to find and enough parking nearby if you are travelling by car.
Our room was very clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. In the common area there are coffee/tea facilities and lots of travel brochures. Breakfast was good with a variety of breads, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, sweets... more than enough. One day we enjoyed breakfast together with some other guests outside on the terrace in the sun.
The place is very quiet and gives beautiful views on the river behind the house. Claudio also offers bikes, so we biked along the river for about 30 minutes to Florence. However, there is also a bus connection. The little village has a small supermarket and a restaurant that I can recommend as well.
Claudio is very kind, helpful and funny. His two dogs are loud barkers but very lovely.
Hopefully we can come back once again. Highly recommended.
