Our newly-renovated apartment is an ideal base for a romantic holiday in Florence. Not only is it located in the best neighbourhood in the city (the Oltrarno where we also live!), but it has a beautiful courtyard garden, surrounded by ancient walls and filled with birdsong, roses and jasmine. Inside, the apartment is a perfect size for two. There is a big living room with sofa and chairs, a desk for internet use, a large built in wardrobe and soft lighting. We also have a library of English books and travel guides. A staircase leads up to the mezzanine floor and a super-comfortable 160cm double bed. The big kitchen is a wonderful, sunny room with a door leading out into the garden, a fabulous spot for al fresco breakfasts or candlelit dinners. “The perfect place to stay in Florence!”

Nicky did such a great job of making this feel like a home away from home. She provided everything we needed and had detailed lists to make us feel comfortable in the area. The location is ideal. We enjoy walking, so nearly the entire city was within our reach by foot. But even for those less inclined to walk, major...

“Just perfect!”

This place is phenomenal! It's spacious, bright, clean, cozy and the location is perfect! Close to everything but far enough from the noise. Nicky our host was super nice and helpful. My husband and I had a great experience!

We enjoyed out stay at this cute little apartment. Nicky was very friendly when we arrived, especially after our taxi dropped us off at the wrong place! (If you book, remember to tell the taxi driver the address, but also specify the one near Piazza di San Felice). We enjoyed use of the washer- Nicky's directions for it were helpful-...

The location couldn't be better: 20 metres from pedestrianised Piazza Pitti and 30 metres from buzzy Piazza Santo Spirito with its morning market, a short stroll will take you to the Ponte Vecchio, Boboli gardens and the Brancacci Chapel while a 10 minute walk takes you across the Arno to the Duomo, the Uffizi, Piazza Signoria, the Accademia and lots more. Our neighbourhood is full of restaurants, bars and cafès and the chic designer boutiques of Via Tornabuoni are just across the river. There are excellent butchers, bakers, grocers nearby and the market in Piazza Santo Sprirto offers fruit and veg stalls plus clothes every day except Sundays.
