CHANGEOVER DAY IN JULY/AUGUST SATURDAY ONLY. Other dates MAY be flexible. Weekends outwith July/August, please enquire. Special rates for longer term lets MAY be available.

Lovely flat in Villefranche

Comfortable well-equipped flat in Villefranche-sur-Mer. it is situated in complex with beautiful pool and well maintained gardens. on-site secure parking. 5 miles from Nice 8 miles from Monaco. walking distance to sheltered beach

About the neighbourhood

LOCAL INTERESTS VILLEFRANCHE Cross the railway bridge, go down the flight of stairs and you are at the beach. The old town is a 10 minute stroll along the promenade,very picturesque with narrow streets, lots of good restaurants and the citadel which has several museums (all free). St. JEAN CAP FERRAT There are several beach walks to and around the cap. The Rothschild museum and gardens are well worth a visit. NICE Tourist train and open top buses leave from the Promenade des Anglais. It's a great place just to sit and people watch. MONTE CARLO As well as the Casino and designer shops, Monaco Ville is beautiful. The Palace, aquarium & botanic gardens. Why not sample a helicopter ride along the coast which is much cheaper than the UK

Getting around

Transport Trains run from Villefranche and Beaulieu up until about midnight. Both stations are about 10 minutes walk from the residence. The trains run west to Nice, Antibes, Juan les Pins, Cannes and St. Raphael. East to Monte Carlo, Menton and Ventimiglia (Italy). Buses run every 15 minutes up until about 20.30 going south to Monte Carlo and Menton and north to Nice where you can change to go further north to Cannes etc. or inland to Grasse, St Paul, Vence etc. At the moment the bus fares are 1.5 Euros per journey.
