Vence, French Riviera - Cote d'Azur, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur
This beautiful two-bedroom apartment is located near to the 13th century 'portail Levis' area of the historic town of Vence. The villa is set in the middle of a large and quiet Mediterranean garden - approximately 3600 square metres on different levels with palm trees, cypresses, bougainvillea, mimosa and roses.
The heart of the house was built in the middle of the 19th century. All rooms are light and airy, some fitted out in typical Provencal style with French doors and shutters.
For the summertime there is a communal, fully equipped outside-kitchen with a barbeque. Deck chairs and sun umbrellas can also be used in the garden.
All apartments have on site parking (one car per apartment), central heating, and fully equipped kitchens.
Maid service and facilities for babies are available upon request.

This was our second visit to this property in three years, which I guess says a lot. For us, the location is perfect, quiet but no more than 5 minute's walk from the centre of a fascinating mediaeval town with a great range of restaurants and within easy driving range of the delights of the Cote d'Azur and Loup valley....

Management response:

That's great to hear you enjoyed your second stay - thanks so much for such a comprehensive review! We hope you'll make the trip from Australia once again soon!

If you go there be sure to pack mosquito repellant as the vine covered terrace is very shaded and provides a perfect humid atmosphere for mosquitoes and other insects. We were bitten so...

Management response:

Hello there, thanks so much for taking the time to review and once again we're so sorry you suffered with the mosquitoes. It's true they can be a pest in the summer and as you say, it's definitely a good idea to take some repellent. We're taking steps to improve the situation for next summer. Regarding the garden furniture, it's...
