About the neighbourhood
Honfleur is an ancient port surrounded by over 100 restaurants to suit every taste & budget. There is a busy market surrounding the port and Place St Catherine where you can visit the famous wooden church built by the local shipbuilders after Henry 5th's army burnt down the original. The location enjoys easy access to the Normandy invasion beaches, Caen & Omaha memorials while Claude Monet's gardens in Giverny and the Bayeux tapestry are only a 1hr drive away.
How to get there
Our guide book/brochure containing Directions & Key access instructions is forwarded to our guests, on final payment. Directions from the Calais Channel Tunnel to Honfleur 2hr 20min drive (source Google map). As you leave the train and join the motorway slip road keep over to the left hand side follow the signs A16/E402 Boulogne/Rouen. (Avoid the temptation of using the petrol station on the left exiting Eurotunnel as you will not be able to rejoin the A16/E402). Approximately 12km (7 miles) out of Calais there is a petrol station on your carriageway, ‘Aire des 2 Caps’ good coffee/refreshment & toilet stop, positioned safely off the AutoRoute. Follow the A16/E402 in the direction of Rouen. You must exit this motorway at Exit 23 in the direction of Rouen A28/E402. Have some euros re...
