With neutral walls, lots of natural lighting, and beautifully furnished rooms, this apartment has a very modern feel. With private parking, easy access to the city centre via LUAS or bus, this apartment is ideally situated.The living room and kitchen overlook a quiet side street, giving this apartment the peace of a residential area. A comfortable couch and chair enjoy not only the view from the window, but a colour TV, DVD player and an elegant fireplace.The kitchen has seating for 4, a microwave, oven/stove, fridge, toaster and kettle. We were warmly greeted by Elaine and Sophie, and instructed about the flat. Rathmines (Irish: Ráth Maonais, meaning 'ringfort of Maonas') is a suburb on the southside of Dublin, about 3 kilometres south of the city centre. It effectively begins at the south side of the Grand Canal and stretches along the Rathmines Road as far as Rathgar to the south, Ranelagh to the east and Harold's Cross to the west.
