Do you fancy a peaceful holiday in the countryside to relax and unwind? Then the kestrel cabin is the place to be as it nestles on the edge of a 5 acre woodland and yet it is only 4 miles from the county town of Elgin. A hot tub has just been installed on decking within the secluded garden. Many species of wildlife can be observed from this peaceful setting. The cabin has panoramic views facing south from the french windows. A lochan with picnic area is visable with easy access through a gate to the field. For dog lovers, the tranquility of the log cabin, surrounded by breathtaking scenery,makes walking your pet around Springburn an absolute joy. This cabin was awarded an overall excellent 4 stars from Visitscotland in February 2019. Lovely cabin, great location and a friendly host. Recommended.

We stayed mainly at the Kestrel Lodge but also had a night in the Buzzard lodge. Both locations are great secluded locations away from the world. The Kestrel lodge is quaint, comfortable and also very well equipped. The hot tub was all you could ask...More

Cosy log cabin

A very comfortable base for exploring the Moray coast and inland. There was a warm welcome, and the cabin was well equipped. The enclosed garden made it ideal for our two dogs!
