Brilliant apartment, comfortable for 4 people. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing easy access to the city centre.

We enjoyed our stay at 134/9 Pleasance. It was easy to walk to everything. The apartment was tidy and had everything we needed. We had no trouble sleeping as the apartment is quiet. The view of Salisbury Crags from the bedroom window is quiet lovely.

What a fab place so close to all attractions Holyrood and the royal mile 5mins away, also with fantastic views over Salisbury crags and Arthurs seat. Susie the owner more than helpful will definitely return can 100% recommend thanks for a lovely holiday.

The apartment is fully equipped for up to four adults plus one baby, with one double bedroom with zip/link beds (can be king size or twin), a double sofa bed in the living room and cot and highchair. There is ample storage for all with two roomy fitted wardrobes and a hall cupboard for suitcase storage.Gas, electricity, towels and linen are all included in the price. Washing up liquid, dishtowels, loo roll and washing machine tablets will also be provided.

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is 2 minutes walk from one of the most renowned fringe theatre venues, the Pleasance Theatre. During the festival season, it hosts day and night performances from worldwide comedians plus many kids' daytime events and shows. Also on the doorstep are the Salisbury Crags, from which you can see all of Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth. Within 10 minutes walk north-eastwards you'll find The National Museum of Scotland, Greyfriars Tolbooth and The Meadows (a great park for kids); and north through Holyrood park you'll find Dynamic Earth, the Royal Mile, Holyrood House and the Scottish Parliament.
How to get there
Cheap flights to Edinburgh Airport are available from Ryan Air, Jet2, FlyBe and Easy Jet from most main cities worldwide. You'll be a 20 minute car/taxi journey from the Airport although the Airport bus regularly runs between there and Waverley Station in the City Centre. From Waverley Station it's a 10 minute walk or a (probably less than) 5 minute taxi ride (about £4)
